In less than two weeks, my book The Proactive Health Solution will gain exposure on an international stage! The Miami book fair was founded in 1984 by the Miami Dade College along with community partners. Since then, it has grown to become the largest book fair in America; and is now recognized as a model for the nation’s finest literary festival.
The fair opens on November 11 and lasts through the following Sunday November 18, 2018. This event includes the street fair, book signings, live music, workshops, theater, readings and discussions with notable authors from all over the U.S. and across the globe. Book lovers and exhibitors come together within a multi-ethnic community to join in this annual celebration of literary arts!
Since The Proactive Health Solution is multi-dimensional in addressing all aspects of health and well-being, many middle school children (ages 12 and up) love this book. Last year a student from Farmington Steam Academy in Farmington Hills, Michigan completed a school project about my book. She shared her copy of my book with many of her classmates, and they absolutely loved the book as well! Teachers, parents and students are having real discussions as they are learn about The Proactive Health Solution. On one thing we can agree; it’s critical to teach children how to develop healthy behaviors.
With that said, I will be doing a book-signing on Friday, November 16 from 10-7 where my book will be presented as an educational guide to teach not only students how to develop a healthy lifestyle, but their parents as well. The second book signing will be held on Saturday, November 17 at 1:00 through my publishing company. If you attend the signing on Saturday, go to booth number 318, it will be labeled Author Solutions.
If you can’t attend either of my book signings in Miami, you can still score a copy of my book by clicking this link. If you prefer a signed copy and/or have a PayPal account, please send me a request with your email address to: email@example.com

How is the Proactive Health Solution (PHS) different from all the other health and fitness books on the market? Many who have read my book understand that the PHS offers an integrated, educational path toward healthy self-management which is essentially overlooked within the vast growing trends of diets and fitness hoopla. That being said, it’s only part of the answer. While a great deal of fitness programs are focused solely on improving one’s physical appearance, it’s fair to say some savvy fitness professionals are finally catching on to the bigger picture. More specifically, they are starting to recognize that optimal health includes more than just changing the physical body. Serious health gurus goad their clients to improve all aspects of health and well-being—in the mind, body, and spirit. Certainly we all know this positive change in behavior and mindset doesn’t occur overnight. It’s the accumulation of incremental modifications that take place…

Being grateful for mom never goes out of style!
For thousands of years, festivities of mothers and motherhood have occurred throughout the world. These older traditions have now become synonymous with Mother’s Day—a modern celebration that honors one’s own mother, motherhood, maternal bonds and the influence of mother’s in society. Today, Mother’s Day is observed in over 40 countries across the globe on various months and dates. This special day is most commonly celebrated in the months of March or May—usually on the 2nd Sunday. It’s no wonder mothers are revered. On some level, even as we age, the thought of Mom brings us comfort and warmth. They have an uncanny ability to continually give, and are endowed with a devotional love for their children that intuitively overrides their own desires. And despite all the time, energy and sacrifice associated with this role, most moms will agree; it is incredibly rewarding. So if you’re a mother, congratulations for…
